Company Background

Harris Farm Markets is a family owned and run fruit and vegetable business, founded in 1971. The company has more than 1000 employees and 26 stores across New South Wales, and an annual turnover of A$300 million. Harris Farm were previously using a 25 year old inventory management application and MYOB accounting system, which resulted in inefficient and inaccurate stocktake and ordering.

The Solution

KPMG Hands-on Systems implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV and customised the system to provide synchronised product information across all stores, and a single view of inventory integrated with their POS system.  We also helped Harris Farm to create workflows to support the company’s invoicing process and an auto-replenishment system.
